AEDM Day 26 & 27

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving we had a great time... here are some pictures of what I have been doing...
I painted some more background pages.... for my journal as you can see above and below... (I noticed that I have a tendency to use the same colors, is that good or bad? I guess it doesn't matter because I have having fun right?)

On the page below I had experimented with fiber, paper glue (on the left side) added some trim buttons and embroidery too...

Yesterday I added the words "move on"

Today I am going to finish this page and continue to work on a zentangle I started this past week but have not posted any pictures yet.  I am moving a little slow as the Doctor doesn't want me using my right hand very much (had a "special" treatment on my elbow to get ride of the tendon problem). I have been good but do have to go to work tomorrow which will be a challenge not to write. Well thanks for looking!

  1. Hope your arm is better soon... I like your journal pages, I've been experimenting with mine today... not easy... but like you say, it's all about the fun.. thanks for dropping by my blog..

  2. Nice job on painting the journal pages. Your journal, you can paint them any colors you want! Hope your arm holds up at work. :)

  3. Oooh that must be hard not being able to use your arm....I hope it heals soon. Nice to see your journal pages and yes I agree...doesn't matter what colour you use so long as you are enjoying it!:)

  4. I think I have to try painting my sketchbook too.

Hope your arm getting better very very soon :-)

  5. Thanks everyone... I hope it is better too...

  6. Praying for complete healing of your arm.
Did you make the journal, or buy it? I see how it is spreading out, and has embellishments at the top, that's why I thought you might have made it.
I love the spirals on the right page. Did you use a stencil, or paint-dipped string?
Thanks for all of the encouraging comments - they are a blessing.
