this month went by...

This month went by fast.... it was hot (which I love) and I found myself outside more then in (except when at work) I have started working on another painting... this one is the GTO emblem on the front of our car.... I am hoping my pencil marks from drawing on the canvas will cover up some what with the paint. I think they are to dark.... Need to find more info on what type of lead to use like HB H etc... I think it will be okay. I was going to paint to night but didn't feel like it, pretty warm outside 92 degrees.... I love the heat... in probably eight weeks or so it will be Halloween and it will probably snow....

I finished my first picture of a series I am doing for the "Man" cave bathroom. I am pretty pleased with how it came out.... every time I worked on it I thought I was getting better? The next one I am going to do is the Pontiac emblem on our 65 GTO.... I think that I need to start with the background first this time.... not sure if there is a right way or wrong way but I am going to treat it kinda of like how I do my quilting.... forget the rules and have fun!
